Description
No user calibration required. Constructed with a thin layer of glass fibre only 0.65 mm thick, the behaviour of the sensor closely approximates that of a healthy leaf, so that moisture condenses and evaporates on the sensor at the same rate as it would on a leaf.
The Decagon LWS leaf wetness sensor must be installed in the crop itself to correctly detect the presence and duration of leaf wetness, this information is especially useful when using disease forecasting models.
