It is a resistive sensor, which measures the resistance between 2 closely spaced interlocked tracks.

Description
Moisture and water droplets act as a junction between the two tracks, causing variations in resistance depending on the amount of water on the surface of the sensor.
The sensor has been designed to standardise measurement conditions, facilitating the comparison of data and the valorisation of information through disease models.
