The TEROS 10 soil moisture sensor is the basic soil moisture sensor from the METER Group, a robust and reliable version.
Ideal for large sensor networks, it is sensitive to small changes in volumetric water content (VWC) over the entire range of soil water content.

Description

The new design of the TEROS 10 probe makes it easy to install in all conditions, from dry desert soils to very wet peat.
The 70 MHz operating frequency minimises the effects of salinity and soil texture, improving accuracy in different soil types and substrates.
With a rugged epoxy body, the TEROS 10 probe is designed to withstand the harshest field conditions and water intrusion.
A very important feature of the TEROS 10 soil moisture probe is that it allows the use of specific calibration functions for different soil types and substrates. In this way, the accuracy of measurement can be improved in a scientifically sound way.
