Only white, only rioja
In white wines, acidity is the most important element that marks their quality. Vineyards planted at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level, facing north and on sandy soils. The winery is committed to producing only quality Rioja white wines. The architecture of Nivarius is sober, with simple forms, as one of its premises is to integrate with the landscape, without invading it. The winery and the technology it houses have been designed by and for white wines. They have 61 hectares that began to be planted around 2010. The varieties they have are: white tempranillo, verdejo, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, maturana and malvasia. Today they are the winery that produces more white tempranillo in La Rioja, and therefore in the world, with 11 hectares in total, as it is an autochthonous Rioja variety.
