Viña Arnáiz
The winery and vineyards Viña Arnáiz are located in the municipality of Haza, in a strategic enclave, where Juana de Haza, noblewoman of Castile, began in the twelfth century to cultivate vineyards at the foot of his fortress. These vineyards were spreading and growing its fame in all the territories for its extraordinary quality. The winery has a surface area of 12,000 m2, with a production and bottling capacity of 18 million bottles per year, and a capacity of 15,000 Bordeaux barrels of American, Allier, Never and Limousine oak where each vintage finds a calm rest. The bottle cellar has been designed to hold 1 million bottles, which will continue to increase according to the hectares of cultivated vineyards. Viña Arnáiz is designed by the renowned architect Manuel de la Torre, famous for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of abandoned villages and old buildings. This architect was in charge of the construction of the social building of the winery where all the materials are centenary: granite stone, wooden beams, etc., thus integrating the Castilian environment.
